Biography

Ben is a Consultant in Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, with an interest in Hepatobiliary imaging and medical education. Locally Ben has a keen interest in postgraduate Radiology training, and is an educational and clinical supervisor for both junior and senior trainees rotating through Gastrointestinal imaging rotations. He also currently holds the position of audit lead within his department.

In addition to being involved with postgraduate education, Ben is also the co-lead for the undergraduate Clinical Radiology attachment at the University of Sheffield, and recently obtained an MSt in Medical Education at the University of Cambridge. He has also held positions as a Junior Fellow in medical education, and previously taught Advanced Life Support on behalf of the Resuscitation Council.

He would describe himself as an enthusiastic and encouraging teacher who has a passion for Radiology and sees learning predominately through a socio-cultural lens.
