Statistics are used everywhere, by the media and politicians as well as scientists, but what do they mean? This course will study descriptive and inferential statistics, as well as the laws of probability and put them into their historical context and everyday modern life. This course does not require any prior knowledge, but GCSE level maths would be helpful.
