Now home to the University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education, Madingley Hall is a fine example of Tudor architecture dating from the reign of Henry VIII. It also contains intriguing remnants of earlier buildings, recycled by the Hynde family and others.
Find out more, and discover some of the Hall's 'secret places', in this illustrated architectural talk by Dr Frank Woodman.
The lecture will begin at 6.00pm, and will be followed by a buffet supper at 7.00pm where you can meet the speaker and chat to other attendees.
Tickets are £29, and include a glass of house wine/prosecco and supper. The grounds will be open from 4.30pm and if you would like to treat yourself to an afternoon tea, please contact enquiry@madingleyhall.co.uk.
