Despite its fame, the Tudor dynasty rose from shadowy and humble origins. This course will examine the tumultuous and unlikely events that led to Henry VII's victory over Richard III at the Battle of Bosworth. We will consider how the first Tudor managed to secure his throne and end the Wars of the Roses.
