Topical Talks - 'Architecture in Painting'

Many Baroque mural paintings in historic houses are currently the focus of conservation projects across the UK. In this talk, Dr Lydia Hamlett will address the ability that the painted architecture inside these murals - showing both real and imagined buildings - have to transport the viewer to other worlds.
